Torp is already mentioned during the time of Nyköpings Gästabud in the beginning of the 14th century. During the middle of the 16th century, the family Rosenhane takes possession of the estate.
Today, Fredrik Norberg lives with his second wife Amie Lindahl Norberg in the West Wing of the estate. The main building has been left to his daughter and beneficiary Jacqueline Hellsten and her family.
